sensual poetry

I was asked by Photojournalist, Ron Brazil, who has shot for Surfer, National Geographic, and other incredible publications to write poetry to feature with his Nude Series, “Intimacy”. The Gallery asked that we be featured together as a provocative collaboration. The Art Show exhibited at Gallery 104 in San Clemente. Enjoy the words… (please note the image below is NOT from the exhibit)

“take me”

In the quiet moments, our bodies find that it is only in the warmth of another when we are truly alive.

Quenching another, feeding the soul, awakening sensuality …

I long to feel your body pressed up against mine

I long to taste your passion, to feel your soul transcend into mine

Your hands caress my skin and I tremble

We wait all our lives to feel the warmth of another; to find a safe place; to feel loved and needed

We all need to be loved, to be touched, to feel the all-encompassing closeness that intimacy brings

Passion, sensuality, compassion, attentiveness, all of these are revealed in our most intimate moments.

Then and only then are we truly free to be.

“Desire”

I have been waiting for you
I close my eyes and run to you
Imagining you taking hold of me
Touching me
Enticing me

Aching to feel your mouth on mine
Your hands pressed against me
Your body inviting me in

The thought of you is enough
The idea of you, everything I long for
With you, I can let go
I can be vulnerable
I can expose myself and I’m not ashamed

You give passion new meaning
You give me new purpose
You breathe life into the sensuality aching within

“Words”
Part I

he draws me in
    devours me completely
penetrating my soul
    he rushes over me
his mouth moves through me
    hands take hold
        flesh upon flesh

nothing can keep me from you

Part II

In the darkness of night, you have taken hold of me and set me free
your hands devour me
your mouth takes in every inch of who I am
clenched fists, you go inside
the warmth beckons and you cannot deny me
I crave you
I dream of you
I cannot be without you

Part III

A life without passion is like living without air … without it, suffocation is inevitable.
